Short answer
EvoGen Solar designs, installs and services solar panels, home batteries and EV chargers in Washington, DC and nearby Maryland, Virginia and Camden County, NJ. Calls are answered 24/7 from our service office at 4702 14th St NW, and every job includes the permit, utility and credit paperwork that goes with it.
What we do
Solar from the first layout to the twentieth year
Our work covers the whole life of a system: new installs on pitched and flat roofs, batteries and EV chargers, repairs and diagnostics, cleaning and pigeon guards, SREC registration, and commercial and condo roofs.
A large share of our calls are about systems someone else installed: an inverter that stopped, a company that closed, a house bought with panels already on the roof. We take those on as readily as new installs.

Two offices
Where we work from
Service office, Washington, DC
4702 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20011. In 16th Street Heights, close to the Maryland line and central to most of the District. District jobs and the inner suburbs run from here.
Head office, Berlin, NJ
743 South Route 73, Berlin, NJ 08009. Our head office, and the base for work across Camden County.
How we work
Four habits we keep on every job
We look before we price
The roof covering, the framing and the main electrical panel are checked before a number goes on paper, because they decide what the job really is.
We file the paperwork
Building permits, Pepco or Dominion interconnection, historic review and credit registration are part of the job, not something left for you.
We test before we replace
Repairs start with testing. A tripped breaker or a dead Wi-Fi link should not turn into a new inverter on the invoice.
We answer the phone
One number, (202) 978-0232, answered 24 hours a day, for a new system or a fault on a holiday weekend.

What we will not do
No phantom tax credit
We will not show a federal tax credit saving that ended on January 1, 2026.
No lease that hides your SRECs
We will not push a lease that hands your SRECs to someone else without explaining what that costs you.
No oversized systems
We will not size a system bigger than net metering can credit, just to make the quote larger.
No panels pulled untested
We will not take panels off a roof without testing and documenting the system first.
How calls are handled
When we are fully booked
EvoGen Solar schedules and performs the installs, repairs and service visits booked through this site. On the rare occasions the calendar is full, storm calls arrive all at once, or a late-night problem cannot wait, a call may be forwarded to another trusted solar provider nearby so the caller still gets help.
That provider sets its own availability and pricing, and we always suggest confirming licensing and insurance before any work begins.
