Who we are

This website is run by EvoGen Solar, with a service office at 4702 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20011 and a head office at 743 South Route 73, Berlin, NJ 08009. This policy explains what information we collect through the website and our phone line, and how we use it.

What we collect when you call

When you call, we note what you tell us so we can help: your name, phone number, the property address, and details about the job, such as the roof, the system or the fault. If you text or send photos, we keep those with your job record.

What the website collects

The website itself has no forms and does not ask you to type in personal information. Like most websites, the server that hosts it may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. The office map is not loaded until you choose to show it; when you do, Google Maps loads and Google's own privacy policy applies to that map.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

How we use information

• To answer your call and give you an honest view of the job.
• To schedule visits, prepare prices and carry out the work.
• To file permits, utility interconnection and credit registration that the job requires.
• To follow up on warranty claims and service you ask for.
• To keep records that tax, permit and warranty rules require.

When information is shared

We share information only as needed to do the job: with permit offices, your utility, credit registries and equipment makers for warranty claims. If your call is forwarded to another solar provider because we are fully booked, the details you give on that call go to them so they can help you. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep job records for as long as the work, its warranties and the related permits and credits remain relevant, and as long as the law requires. Call records for jobs that never went ahead are kept only as long as they are useful for following up with you.

Your choices

This website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
